About
Calculators you can trust, privacy you can keep.
CalcRegistry is a free collection of online calculators and converters. We built it because most utility sites are cluttered, slow, and collect more of your data than you'd like. We'd rather run the math on your device than send your inputs off to a server. A calculator site preaching simplicity sounds a little silly, and we get it. We still think it's worth doing.
What we care about
Privacy. Every calculation runs in your browser. We don't hold onto your inputs, use them for ads, or make you sign up.
Accuracy. We lean on established references and current-year benchmarks when numbers need to match a real table. If a tool needs a citation or a footnote, it's on that tool's page. We're not going to paste the same long appendix everywhere.
Simplicity. Fast and light on ads. No fake "premium" paywalls. Just the tool when you need it.
Why run everything in your browser?
Most calculator sites send your inputs to their servers and run the math there. So your salary, your mortgage balance, your health numbers, whatever you typed, takes a trip across the internet to someone else's machine. We don't work that way.
On CalcRegistry, the JavaScript on the page does the work. Close the tab and it's gone. There's nothing useful for us to log, sell, or leak, and that's easier for everyone.
Behind the project
CalcRegistry is built and maintained by Jeff Beem, a software developer with a background in production lending and finance systems. Full bio โ
When we check accuracy, we line outputs up with what each tool is supposed to follow. That might mean IRS publications and other official government sources for tax and finance, recognized health guidance (NHLBI and WHO show up a lot) on health calculators, standard math and science with well-worn constants, and current-year benchmarks (including 2026 figures) when we're matching published tables. These tools aren't a substitute for a CPA, financial advisor, doctor, or lawyer. Treat them as educational helpers, and bring in a professional when the decision really counts.
See something that looks off? Send a note. We fix real mistakes. If it's in the compound interest formula, we'll blame a very off day.
